The 145s are a band named after the standard 12-bar blues (I-IV-V). That says it all really: we love blues. (And yes we do have a harmonica player).

Our influences range from the classic blues artists such as B.B. King, through to the upbeat rhythms of the Blues Brothers and more contemporary artists such as Joe Bonamassa and Gary Moore.

We can provide a full 7-piece rhythm and blues band, a reduced blues band of 4-5, or we provide you with an acoustic duo / trio. Just let us know what you're looking for.

Set List Samples

Rhythm and Blues is a genre with great breadth to it - and can work with most different styles of event. Relaxed reception? Get some laid back blues going. Full blown party? The Blues Brothers & Ray Charles will get people on the dance floor. To borrow the immortal words of Jake Blues: "We ARE a dance band".

We would of course tailor this to suit your needs - these samples are just meant to give you a flavour. It is also worth mentioning is that these tunes blend very well with both our Rock 'n' Roll and Funk/Soul/Motown sets.
